Winner of the Outstanding Student Achievement Full Tuition Scholarship, Eleonora Higginson obtained her Bachelor Degree in Voice Performance from the University of British Columbia. Following her degree, Eleonora completed a post-graduate Artist Diploma in Voice and Opera Performance at the Vancouver Academy of Music. During the 2010/11 season Eleonora performed under a fest engagement with Theater Görlitz, Germany. She is currently mentored by Nancy Argenta and Ingrid Attrot at the Victoria Conservatory of Music. Eleonora was recently featured with the Victoria Symphony Orchestra (Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and “A Night at the Opera”), the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra (Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony), and at the Grand théâtre de Québec in the role of 2nd Lady in the opera Pauline with City Opera Vancouver. Upcoming performances include the Spirit of the North Classical Music Festival.
